Sri V.M.M. Nair passed on October 6th 2021 in Delhi. His wife, Srimati Krishnakumari Nair passed less than a year later, on September 21st 2022.

On November 27th 2022, family and friends gathered online for a celebration of their unique and extraordinary lives. The videos below frame moments from their youth, their time whilst Ambassador Nair was in service, and their retirement. The images span the period from approximately 1939 to 2021. 

The images have been set to music by Karthika Vaidyanathan, a Carnatic musician and a play-back singer in Chennai. She is also a music educator and runs her own organisation, Swarakshara, facilitating art and musical appreciation to people from various backgrounds virtually.
